All sales final
Because every item in our shop is one-of-a-kind — secondhand, handmade, or made in small batches we don’t offer returns or exchanges. We describe and photograph everything carefully so you know exactly what you’re getting. Still have questions before you buy? We’re happy to chat, just ask!

Not as described?
If something arrives and it genuinely doesn’t match how we described it, please reach out right away. It’s possible we missed something and we want to make it right.

Hold & Combine
Want to keep shopping? No problem! Choose "Hold & Combine" at checkout and we'll keep your items for up to 3 months. When you're ready, place a final order and select your delivery method (pick-up or shipping). 

Note: We'll send you a reminder as the 3-month deadline approaches. If the deadline passes, items will go plooof (and be donated to a local shelter)…we don’t have unlimited storage :)

Safety
Our kits, packs and any toys sold through Plooof are not suitable for children under 5 years due to small parts. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children.

Governing law
Purchases made through Plooof are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

FAQs

Ordering + payment
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay through our secure Shopify checkout. Payment is processed at the time of purchase.
  • I’ve changed my mind. Do you accept returns?
    Generally, no — all sales are final. But if something arrives and it’s not as described, please reach out right away! It’s possible we missed something, and we want to make it right. Send us a message through the Contact page and we’ll figure it out together.
  • Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
    All sales  are final, but we get it things happen! Reach out and we’ll do our best to work it out.

 

Pick-up + shipping
  • How does front porch pick-up work?
    Pick-up is free and easy! When you check out, choose local pick-up and email us with your preferred pick-up day (we need 24 hours notice). We’ll send you our address and leave your order on the porch. You’ll get a confirmation once it’s ready.
  • How much is shipping? Do you ship outside Canada?
    We ship anywhere in Canada. Zines/packs are free, kits are $4 and Finds are a flat rate of $15. We don’t ship internationally at this time — but stay tuned!
  • How long until my order ships?
    Orders ship within 1–3 business days. You’ll receive an email as soon as it’s on its way.
  • Can I combine multiple orders to save on shipping?
    Yes! Choose “Hold & Combine” at checkout and we’ll keep your items for up to 3 months. When you’re done shopping, place a final order and choose your delivery method—pick-up or shipping. 

    We’ll send a reminder as your 3-month window approaches. If the deadline passes without a final order, items will go ‘plooof’ (donated to a local charity) — we don’t have unlimited storage :)

 

Secondhand + Plooofed items
  • What condition are the secondhand items in?
    All secondhand items are inspected, cleaned, and de-wrinkled before listing. We photograph them carefully and note any flaws in the product description, including things like light pilling, a small mark, or signs of wear. If something has a flaw, we price accordingly.
  • What does “Plooofed” mean?
    Plooofed items are secondhand pieces we’ve given a little extra love with a small creative touch. They live in both Plooof finds and Plooof things, because they’re a bit of both.
  • Can I see more photos or get measurements?
    Absolutely! Just message us before you buy. We’re happy to send extra photos, check a specific measurement, or answer any questions about fit. No guarantees it won't get snapped up, we don't hold items. Reach us through the Contact page.
General
  • Where are you based?
    We’re based in Toronto, Ontario. Local pick-up is available from our front porch in the east end of the city.
  • Do you do markets or pop-ups?
    We love this idea and will be popping up at the Wellbe Spring Market this Sunday May 24! Come visit us and other wonderful endors. Follow us on Instagram to be the first to know when we pop-up!.
  • How do I get in touch?
    Use the Contact page to send us a message, or find us on Instagram. We try to respond within 1–2 business days.
